Exploring the Splendor of Asian Green Bee-eaters in India: An Array of Feathered Elegance amidst the Country’s Diverse Wildlife and Sceneries.

The immense habitat of the Green bee-eater spans across a vast region, from West Africa’s Mauritania to sub-Saharan Africa, as well as the Middle East and India – even reaching as far north as Nepal. This bird species can be found in various locations throughout Southeast Asia including central China, Thailand, and Vietnam.

Green bee-eaters prefer to live in wooded areas that contain scattered trees and bushes. They tend to stay close to streams and shores but are also known to inhabit arid regions with acacia and date palms, dunes, cultivated areas, and large gardens. They have a preference for bare and sandy soils. The species does not migrate, but they do make seasonal movements in response to rainfall.
