Аbɑոԁᴏոеԁ Just Few Days Before Giving Birth Got Տһᴏᴏеԁ Away By People She Ran With A Heavy Belly

On March 17, Animal Rescue of Anton received a distressing call regarding a pregnant dog in Coronado who had been abandoned a few days prior. This poor pooch was about to give birth but had been forced to hide out in a field near the highway due to being shooed away by numerous people. Despite receiving some food from kind souls, she and her puppies were in grave danger and urgently needed help.

Fortunately, a kind-hearted woman spotted the distressed animal and called for help from the Animal Rescue of Anton. Despite their efforts to approach her, the frightened creature managed to escape, albeit at a slow pace. The rescuers decided not to chase after her so as not to frighten her even more.

As they trailed behind her, the gentle pursuit seemed to take its toll and she eventually succumbed to fatigue and collapsed. In an effort to coax her into the cage, food was used as bait and fortunately, it proved effective. With the cage secured, they worked to soothe her nerves and much to their relief, she appeared relatively calm and collected inside the enclosure.

The doctor mentioned that the expected delivery date is just around the corner. Fortunately, the ultrasound scan indicated that all of the unborn babies are in good condition and there are approximately ten of them preparing to enter the world. Although they are slightly smaller than average, the doctor reassured that they will likely be fine.

There is a slight deviation in her hip and she has suffered from a severe infection caused by parasites. The first course of action was to remove all visible parasites and then give her a medicinal wash to prevent further contamination. Despite the uncomfortable situation, she displayed good behavior and did not show any signs of aggression.

All set and geared up, she felt a tad bit anxious that evening. Nonetheless, she successfully gave birth to 11 puppies, and all of them managed to pull through. These little ones are beyond cute!

We are absolutely smitten with the new additions to their family – 11 adorable puppies, 6 of which are males and 5 are females! The little bundles of joy were born on the 22nd of March.
